Our lesson for this day is submitting your blog to search engines and we will concentrate on the top 3 search engines for now (i.e. Google, Bing, and Ask.com).
Reminder: There are many sites that offer free and automatic submission to search engines but it's still advisable if you do the submission manually.
GOOGLE
1. To submit your blog to Google - Click HERE

BING
2. To submit your blog to Bing - Click HERE
Bing is formerly Live Search, Windows Live Search, and MSN
Search. It has merged with Yahoo Search also.
Type the captcha code, then your blog's URL (http://YOURBLOGNAME.blogspot.com), then click the "Submit URL" button.

ASK
3. To submit your blog to Ask.com:
Ask.com is formerly AskJeeves.com.
Submission to Ask.com is a little
different because they don’t have a page where you can submit your URL to.
What you will do is type the following phrase in your browser URL box (top of your screen) then "enter".
http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=http://YOURBLOGNAME.blogspot.com/rss.xml
OR
http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=http://YOURBLOGNAME.blogspot.com/atom.xml
A message like the one below will appear and you're done!

Your Sitemap has been successfully
received and added to our Sitemap queue.
